Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using ALPHA. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.
ALPHA is operated by Ramos Digital, LLC, a Washington limited liability company, doing business as ALPHA ("ALPHA," "we," "us"). ALPHA is a financial organization tool designed for independent creators. It helps you log income, expenses, royalty earnings, split payments, and manage collaborator contacts. ALPHA is a productivity tool — it is not a bank, payment processor, financial advisor, tax professional, or law firm.
Nothing in ALPHA — including any tax estimates, royalty calculations, or split breakdowns — constitutes financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. All figures are estimates generated from information you provide and are intended for personal planning and organization only.
You should consult a licensed tax professional, accountant, or attorney before making any financial or legal decisions.
If you connect a bank account, transactions are imported through Plaid and categorized automatically. Imported data can be delayed, incomplete, or duplicated by the bank or by the connection, and automatic categorization is probabilistic — it will sometimes label a transaction wrongly. ALPHA gives you tools to review and correct imported transactions, and the figures ALPHA computes are only as accurate as the records they are computed from. Review your books before relying on them.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. ALPHA is a financial tool, and you must be able to enter a binding agreement to use it.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your username and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
You own the data you enter into ALPHA. We do not claim ownership over your financial records, contacts, or any other content you create. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Some of what you enter is about someone else — a client's email address, a collaborator's contact details. By entering them you confirm you were entitled to give them to us, and you authorize us to email that person on your behalf about the payments and invoices you record: sending an invoice, reminding them it is due, or telling them you have recorded paying their share. We send those messages only because you asked us to, and we use the address for nothing else.
You agree not to use ALPHA to engage in any unlawful activity, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or to interfere with the service in any way. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
ALPHA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculations will be accurate. Use the tool as a starting point, not a final source of truth.
We may add, change, or remove features of ALPHA, or discontinue the service, at any time. If we ever discontinue ALPHA entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give you notice and a window to export your data first.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ramos Digital, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from decisions made based on figures generated by the app.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ramos Digital, LLC and its members and agents from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your violation of these terms or your unlawful use of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of ALPHA will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of ALPHA after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
